Franklin Savings Bank and Independence Financial Advisors (IFA) recently presented Franklin High School with a $6,200 grant to enhance overall safety and emergency preparedness for its staff. The grant will enable the school to purchase 18 high-quality, two-way Motorola devices.
“Ensuring the safety of both the staff and students at Franklin High School is very important, so they are properly prepared for an emergency situation,” commented Brian Bozak, President & COO. “Having the proper communication tools in place will greatly enhance the well-being of the staff and students, thereby creating a supportive and safe environment for everyone.”
Research suggests the development of a safe, supportive school environment is likely to improve staff morale as well as reduce employee turnover. As Franklin High School continues to enhance its culture and environment by providing its students with a supportive and safe environment, the faculty will also benefit from a positive culture and atmosphere, thereby resulting in a higher staff retention rate.
