Franklin Savings Bank recently granted $7,500 to 603 United to support the purchase of a special projector system for their inclusive theatre. The projector will be used within their new stage and performance area. They will be using the projector to enhance the daily activities of their participants, including singing, dancing, Wii Fit and other interactive games, and weekly for their movie showings for the local community.
“We are proud to support 603 United’s efforts to enhance the well-being of adults with intellectual disabilities in our area,” explains Brian Bozak, President & CEO, Franklin Savings Bank. “We appreciate everything the organization does every day to assist our communities. It was our pleasure to support this initiative.”
603 United is a new non-profit organization serving adults in our community with intellectual disabilities. They have had one major focus since their inception: To provide social and recreational activities and reduce isolation for adults with disabilities. As a result of their efforts, many lasting friendships have been formed and their members are thriving. The purchase of the projector will bring a sense of purpose and improve mental health for their club members.
