Franklin Savings Bank is pleased to welcome Shane Brewer to the role of VP, Commercial Loan Officer within its commercial lending group. Shane will be based out of Portsmouth, NH.
Shane comes to FSB with a Master of Business Administration and a career in banking with both a Retail and Commercial Lending background. Most recently, Shane held the position of VP of Commercial Lending at First Seacoast Bank. In his role, Shane will focus on developing relationships with businesses in the greater Portsmouth area to assist them with their financing needs.
“Shane brings a fresh perspective to commercial lending at Franklin Savings Bank,” comments Jim Dubois, EVP, Senior Loan Officer. “He will spearhead our efforts to develop relationships with businesses in the greater Portsmouth area where he has spent many years cultivating relationships. We are thrilled to have him on our team.”
An active member of the community, Shane is acting Treasurer of the Board of Directors for The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth. He was also formerly on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for the Children’s Museum of NH.
When asked what attracted Shane to Franklin Savings Bank, he commented, “The cultural values of integrity and respect were a major draw for me,” explains Shane. “When I sought feedback about the bank, what I received were comments that employees are ‘down to earth’, ‘grounded’ and ‘genuine’. Specifically with regards to Commercial Lending, Franklin Savings Bank was described as motivated to do the right thing for its customers. That was a huge motivator for me join the team.”
Outside of work, Shane enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, fishing and spending time outdoors. Shane lives in York, ME with his wife and two children.
